Frances R. Hudgins
Architect
Frances Hudgins, a registered architect with degrees from the University of Virginia, School of Architecture, began working in New York City and Washington, DC on large international and government work before starting Hudgins Design Collaborative in 1999. HDC focuses on residential, ecclesiastical and small commercial projects and provides thoughtful, contextual architectural design. Attentiveness to client needs have continued to be the most important and most enjoyable part of the process for the firm. A preference to work with, as well as for her clients coupled with the cultivation of solid working relationships with contractors yields additions, renovations and new construction projects that stand the test of time and often result in repeat clients.
Frances is married to Tim Hudgins and frequently enjoys working with her husband, an architect who graduated from the Virginia Tech School of Architecture.
